New Professionals Made by SMA

We did it! After weeks of preparing for the final exams, we finally reached the finish line.
This January, 41 trainees and 13 participants in the re-training program completed their last round of exams in 12 different career training fields. Now we are dispersed throughout the various departments at SMA as new professionals. But how are things going?

My start as an electrician

During our training, a solid foundation was poured to prepare us for daily work life within the company. I am now an electrician for industrial engineering and was offered a position in my last training department, Quality Management. My actual title is now CAQ-Support assistant. My main task is to train coworkers world-wide in using our quality management software and to process the data from this software program. At the same time, I am also responsible for providing software support. The best part about my job is that I see many familiar faces, as I made the rounds through so many departments during my training.
And, of course, I have my own desk now with a computer, two monitors and everything that goes along with it. 😉 Even the flex-time option, which most of my colleagues have, is practical.
